‘Hocus Pocus 2’ on Disney +: Fans go gaga over teaser trailer, call it ‘absolutely fantastic’
We all have grown up watching Disney movies right from our childhood. Most of us have a special nostalgia attached to the iconic film ‘Hocus Pocus’. This Halloween-themed horror comedy was a huge hit when it was released in 1993 and became a cult classic over the years. Now, Disney + is finally bringing forth the highly talked about sequel ‘Hocus Pocus 2’. The film has been helmed by Anne Fletcher. The screenplay of ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ has been written by Jen D’Angelo and it has been adapted from the characters originally created by Mick Garris and David Kirschner. The movie has been backed by Walt Disney Pictures and David Kirschner Productions. ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ has been produced by Adam Shankman, Lynn Harris, David Kirschner, and Steven Haft.
‘Hocus Pocus 2’ revolves around three high-school students, Winnie Sanderson (Taylor Paige Henderson), Sarah Sanderson (Juju Brene), and Mary Sanderson (Nina Kitchen), who accidentally re-awaken the eerie looking evil-spirits of the iconic Sanderson sisters on a Halloween night whilst chanting to the spirits to celebrate their friend’s birthday. The three girls need to figure out a way to stop the Sanderson sisters who have made their comeback in present-day Salem. Before the movie releases in September 2022, fans can also watch similar films like ‘Dead’, ‘A Babysitter’s Guide To Monster Hunting’, and 'Story Game'.

The teaser trailer of 'Hocus Pocus 2' was recently released. The internet was pleasantly surprised and could not stop raving about the brilliant yet spine-chilling looks of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the legendary Sanderson sisters. Fans took to Twitter to express their views and excitement about the movie and have been applauding the teaser trailer.
"This looks absolutely FANTASTIC!!!," a fan said. "Hosting a streaming party at the crib!" a fan wrote. "Didn't think I'd be interested in this but they really got these ladies back in character all these years later and so I might just have to give it a watch," a fan shared.
