Tekashi 6ix9ine rushed to hospital as blood dripped down his face after he's 'beaten to a pulp' in gym
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Tekashi 6ix9ine was reportedly rushed to hospital on Tuesday, March 21, after he was brutally beaten by a group of men inside the restroom of a LA Fitness in southern Florida. The 'Gummo' rapper, who did not have security at the time, was beaten 'to a pulp' and sustained bruises and injuries to his face, according to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro.
The โGoobaโ artist, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, did his best to defend himself but was outnumbered by his attackers, Lazzaro told TMZ. 6ix9ine was taken to a nearby medical facility via ambulance after the manager of the gym contacted the police and emergency services. In a picture, the rapper is seen with a swollen face and a gash close to his cheek. A video of the incident was also shared on social media where two guys were seen standing over 6ix9ine as he thrashes on the bathroom floor, attempting to shield his head from the blows.

Tekashi 6ix9ineโs notorious past
This horrific incident came just a few days after 6ix9ine was thrown out of a Miami baseball stadium for causing a drunken ruckus and disturbing other fans. "He was heavily intoxicated and interrupting other guests' experience," a source told Page Six. They added, "He was drunk, he was inebriated and he was out of control. There were a lot of families there last night and he was bothering people." The incident occurred toward the end of the game and the rapper had "been a nuisance for several innings."
The โFefeโ artist has a notorious history, which saw him getting arrested numerous times. In 2019, 6ix9ine was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. He had faced a 47-year minimum sentence and a maximum of life in prison in the case, in which he was accused of multiple crimes. However, his time was lowered after he reached a plea bargain, which saw him testifying against multiple gang members. Most recently, his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Wattley, was detained in Miami in August 2022 after she repeatedly punched him at the club Kiki by the River.
