'Teen Mom OG' star Mackenzie Standifer welcomes second baby Stella Rhea with husband Ryan Edwards
'Teen Mom OG' couple Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards have welcomed their second child together on January 1, 2020.
Posting a series of family photographs with her husband Ryan and their other children, Mackenzie took to her Instagram to share the news of the birth of her baby girl named Stella Rhea Edwards on Monday, January 13.
"Welcome to the world sweet Stella," the 23-year-old captioned the image on her Instagram. "Stella Rhea Edwards came on her own time and surprised us New Years Day! What a way to start our year! We are so in love with her already," the caption added.
Stella is Ryan and Mackenzie's second child since they tied the knot in 2017. This is Mackenzie's third child. It was in July that she announced she was pregnant with her third child captioning the image, "Baby Girl Edwards is coming in January."
The couple welcomed their baby daughter Stella roughly nine months since Ryan's release from prison for theft and a previous heroin possession charge.
The images shared by Mackenzie to announce the good news are not only sweet but also heartwarming. In one of the images, Stella's father Edwards holds her and he cradles his baby girl.
In another image, Standifer has her arms wrapped around Edwards and Stella as they both lovingly look at their daughter.
Mackenzie also shared an image of the entire family together including Jagger, their firstborn together, Hudson — Standifer's son from a previous relationship — and Bentley — Edward's son from his ex and fellow 'Teen Mom OG' star Maci Bookout.
Fans of the show and the couple sent in their blessings on social media. "Congrats! My daughter's bday is New Year’s Day! I remember when I had my daughter ringing in the new year with my baby girl too in 2014!! Best way to start your new year is for sure!! Having a baby!! She’s beautiful and congrats to you and Ryan!" (sic) wrote a fan.
"Aww!! My daughter's middle name is RaeLynn....LOVE your spelling of Rhea!!" commented another. As many sent support, they also urged Mackenzie to ignore the haters. "Congrats on the beautiful baby! Ignore the haters, their lives must be pretty horrendous to bash an innocent baby."
