What is Taylor Swift's religion?

In her documentary 'Miss Americana' which was released in 2020, Swift mentioned that she was raised a Christian but she felt that the real Christian values were not being upheld by the current lawmakers who are molding it in their own ways to make the lives of others difficult. The documentary, which was highly praised post its release, captured Taylor’s political ideologies. She highlighted her urge to help shape history and went vocal about who she endorsed. She went on and publicly endorsed two Tennessee Democratic Senate candidates: Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, out of which Bredesen lost but Cooper won.

Thrashing the conservative republican Marsha Blackburn, she said, “I can't see another commercial and see Marsha Blackburn disguising these policies behind the words 'Tennessee Christian values.' Those aren't 'Tennessee Christian values.' I live in Tennessee. I'm a Christian. That's not what we stand for." We all know Christianity doesn’t support homosexuality; however, Taylor does. She has been supporting the LGBTQ community for a long time through her speeches and songs.

When Taylor Swift backed abortion and LGBTQIA rights

Taylor has never shied away from backing abortion and LGBT rights, which conservatives claim is against Christianity. In an interview with V magazine, she said, “The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included.”

When Tennessee geared up for an abortion ban, the 'Midnight' hitmaker instantly spoke against the ban and said, "Obviously, I'm pro-choice.” She further said, "I can't believe we're here. It's really shocking and awful. And I just wanna do everything I can for 2020. I wanna figure out exactly how I can help."

If one thing is evident about Swift’s religious beliefs it is the fact that even though she has established her own relationship with faith.
