LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift took to social media after her latest Eras Tour stop in Houston, where she revealed to fans that she had cut her hand backstage during one of the concerts. She explained, "I'm totally fine and it was my fault completely - tripped on my dress hem and fell in the dark backstage while running to a quick change - braced my fall with my palm."

Despite the injury, the singer-songwriter seemed to be in good spirits, writing on Twitter, "Just got to play 3 insane shows in Houston and I'm waking up smiling reminiscing about how much fun we all had... Loving this tour so much because of the passion these crowds put into it all - seriously can't wait for Atlanta." She even referenced the current astrological phase, saying, "It was all very Mercury in retrograde coded. Don't worry about me I'm gooooood."

Joe Alwyn broke up with Taylor Swift as he had 'difficulty coping with her high level of fame'

Eras tour and girls' night out

Swift enjoyed a night out in New York City with her closest girlfriends, including Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and the Haim sisters. The group of six was spotted walking down the street, with Swift wearing a stunning black minidress, black shoes, and sunglasses. Earlier in the week, the Grammy-winning singer was also seen having dinner with Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. It seems that Swift is taking some time off from her Eras Tour to relax in the Big Apple. During her Houston show, she surprised the audience with an array of surprise songs, including 'Wonderland,' 'You're Not Sorry,' and 'Begin Again.' Recently, the singer has been frequently spotted in New York City following her split with actor Joe Alwyn after six years of dating. Interestingly, Reynolds, the Haim sisters, and Swift's brother Austin all reportedly unfollowed Alwyn on Instagram after the breakup.

Swift and Alwyn split

"Ultimately, Taylor and Joe weren’t the right fit for one another," a source close to the couple confirmed to People on April 8, following news of their breakup after six years of dating. The famously private couple had previously deflected engagement rumors, with Swift beginning to date the Boy Erased actor in 2016. Over the pandemic, they began collaborating on music together, which ultimately resulted in a Grammy Awards win. However, a source for People claims that differences in their personalities led to the breakup. "They’ve had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together," the source added.

Despite Swift continuing her Eras tour across the country, with no sightings of Alwyn, a week prior to their breakup confirmation, she swapped out a track during her Arlington, Texas performance. She replaced 'Invisible String,' a song about soulmates, with 'The 1,' which reminisces about a lost love. According to Entertainment Tonight, the split was amicable and "not dramatic." A source for the media outlet claims that "The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows."
