Tarek El Moussa shares weekend getaway experience

Embarking on an Instagram reel adventure, Tarek enthusiastically shared glimpses of a weekend getaway to the Luxurious Desert Escapes in Indio, CA. The footage showcased a dazzling array of activities, from refreshing pools and thrilling slides to engaging pickleball matches and a captivating gaming arcade. Revealing the motivation behind this extravagant trip, Tarek expressed his desire to create something truly special for his beloved family on Memorial Day, emphasizing that it ranked among the most remarkable experiences he had enjoyed in quite some time. In a generous gesture, he also encouraged his followers to consider this remarkable property when planning their own vacations or short trips. He captioned his video, "Hands down one of the best weekends we’ve ever had 🙌 Family, fun, games, & quality time at one of the sickest properties ever… I’m telling you, booking this property was one of the BEST things I’ve ever done. @luxurydesertescapes had everything we could’ve wanted: a massive lazy river, pool, slides, pickle ball court, jacuzzi, arcade, movie theater, bar area, and more:) We were all smiles all weekend long ❤️🙏 Who here would do a weekend getaway at a place like this!??" However, as the comments poured in, fans wasted no time in raising concerns about the cost and accessibility of such indulgences. Their swift observations highlighted that the description and price point associated with the getaway might prove unattainable for individuals facing financial instability or limitations.

'Only if you're rich'

Tarek's well-intentioned Instagram reel showcasing his lavish weekend getaway faced a wave of criticism and backlash from disappointed fans. One said, "I would be more impressed if your “hands down best weekend ever” was in your own backyard without outside help… totally not realistic in your fake world… keep on bragging and showing off…I’m proud of being exhausted because we worked hard and together created a great experience… didn’t pay and hire people for it 🤷🏻‍♀️. . .truth don’t come at me." while another added, "I'm sure most people would if they could afford it" Some even pointed out, "Sure, sounds like a nice place to go to if your rich. You do not care about affordability" Another sassily remarked, "Yeah like we can all afford that. 🙄" Another enquired, "What was the cost? Realistically, would most people be able to afford to stay here". Some even said, "Most of your viewers/fans can’t afford 💩 especially in this economy, Tarek"
