LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa's new HGTV program 'The Flipping El Moussas' is coming to an end! The ten-episode docuseries — the couple's first official program together — covered everything from their professional undertakings to their personal life.
'The Flipping El Moussas' chronicled the couple's joint ventures and daily life. Tarek and Heather are having a hard time making a profit on their properties, which they purchased before interest rates rose and the market stalled. But one has to give them credit for being open about their problems on their show. In the episode 'Market Slows, Inventory Woes,' they really laid it all bare. Now, just before the season finale on April 27, Tarek has shared a little clip that captures a very sweet moment from the show.

Heather and Tarek Rae El Moussa take on a 'stressful' flip
On Thursday, April 27, Tarek posted a video on Instagram of Heather in the final days of her pregnancy, relaxing on the beach with her husband and stepchildren. We saw Tarek's young son Brayden fall and ask his father for help in a tragic chain of events. Tarek turns to his son for help but finds that he has been tricked into paying Brayden $5.
Tarek says of the season's last flip, "This flip is stressful for a lot of reasons." For starters, they were racing against the clock, since the couple wasn't sure if they'd be able to finish the flip before Heather went into labor. Heather and Tarek had their first child, a son, on January 31. He continues, "We’re faced with some unexpected and very expensive changes…"
Tarek thanked everyone who contributed to the show's success to celebrate the finale of the HGTV show. "All chaotic things aside, I mainly wanted to use this post to say thank you for watching the first-ever season of The Flipping El Moussas," he said. "I know it’s new and I know a lot of you have been with me for a decade on @hgtv so I really appreciate you sticking with me 🙏 Hope you guys love tonight's finale episode on @hgtv and @discoveryplus at 9PM ET/PT," he wrote.
As for the work environment, Tarek adds that it can be "very difficult to find a work-life balance" when people are doing so many things. For the couple, however, it's a priority. "So no matter what's going on with work, we have dinner as a family. We put the kids to bed. So everything we do is planned. It's on the calendar. It's timed all the way down to the minute. But since we're so organized from 5 am to 10 pm, we're able to accomplish just so many things," says Tarek.
'Brayden is hilarious'
Brayden's stunt to score $5 off of his father won the internet. One person commented on the post, "Omg I laughed so hard! He plays the "I'm hurt card" can I have 5 bucks?! 🤣🤣🤣 love that kid!! He's going places, big places!!! Lol." Another added, "The nonchalant can I have $5 bucks gets me 😂😂😂." One person calling Bray 'genius' wrote, "Bray’s tactic of getting 5 bucks… genius 😂." A fourth person wrote, "I’m weak Brayden is hilarious🤣." One fan also commented on Bray, "Can I have 5 bucks💀🤣🤣🤣 he knows how to work it hahaha." Another summed up the situation writing, "Kids do the funniest things. Pay me for my painnn 😂😂😂😂."
