Tamar Braxton hospitalized after possible suicide attempt, worried fans pray she pulls through
Tamar Braxton has been admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles. She was found unresponsive and sources believe that it was a possible suicide attempt.
According to The Blast, sources confirmed that Tamar was staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles, near LA Live, with her boyfriend David Adefeso. The source told the publication that it was David who found her in an “unresponsive” state after which he immediately called 911 to report the incident. He said that his girlfriend had been drinking and consumed an unknown amount of prescription pills.
Sources confirmed that David believes it was a possible suicide attempt. They also said that ambulances arrived at the hotel to help transport Braxton, who's also a reality TV star, to California hospital in Downtown LA. The publication also spoke to LAPD who said they received a call around 9.45 pm on July 16 in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose". They also added that their officers are following the woman to the hospital for further investigation.
After news about Braxton being admitted broke, her fans have been praying for her well being and safety. "This season is so trying! Praying for Tamar. Check on your friends and family," wrote a fan. Another tweeted, "I plead the blood of Jesus over Tamar and nick right now! I'm dead serious. this year has us all f****d up." Another fan shared, "Prayers up for #Tamar My God, what is going on? Just terrible. Pray she pulls through." Another fan tweeted, "You can tell that Tamar is tired of playing the mean girl on tv. That s**t is profitable but exhausting. It’s not who she really is."
Tamar was seen in VH1's 'To Catch a Beautician' recently where she helped people who were victims of traumatic haircuts seek redemption by getting a makeover of their dreams. She was also seen on HBO Max's recently concluded show 'Legendary'. She appeared on the semifinal episode of the show and was an instant hit with the participants on the show as well as fans who loved the sass she brought to the show.
