The news of the ‘Euphoria’ star and her restaurateur fiance enjoying some ‘we’ time came on the heels of the break up of Sweeney’s co-star Glen Powell’s break up with his girlfriend of three years Gigi Paris.

The date seems pretty important, as it came shortly after Sweeney's co-star Glen Powell's alleged breakup with his girlfriend of three years, Gigi Paris. When Powell and Sweeney were spotted spending time together, the rumor mill was abuzz that the two were a couple. However, the 'The White Lotus' star's date with the pizza chain owner's fiance proved that everything is fine between the couple, who have been together for five years.

Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino's date night

Sweeney, 25, and Davino, 38, looked blissful as they strolled through the streets of New York City after the ‘Frankies Bikini' collaborator attended an Armani Beauty event in the city, photographs obtained by Daily Mail show. 

With her fiance in tow, the actress strutted down the sidewalk in knee-high black leather boots, a matching jacket with vertical silver zippers over a thigh-skimming dress, and semi-sheer tights. She completed her elegant look with a pair of huge hoop earrings, a brush of bronzer for a sun-kissed glow just below her cheekbones, and a perfectly smoothed golden mane. For his part, Davino accompanied his girlfriend around town in a black leather jacket, a matching T-shirt, and dark jeans.

The couple became engaged in early 2022 when Sweeney was found wearing a four-carat diamond engagement ring. Recently, however, she has been photographed without the glitzy jewelry on her finger.

As the couple, who were filming in Australia for Will Gluck's movie, cuddled up and shared fun behind-the-scenes photos online, fans could not help but notice their sizzling on-screen chemistry. In one instance, Sweeney shared a photo of herself enjoying a bus ride with the 'Set It Up' star, clearly enjoying each other's company. She captioned the post with "🚎 sometimes things are more fun in the rain :)."

In another instance, another clip of Powell dipping Sweeney from the couch went viral and hawk-eyed fans were quick to notice the chemistry. 

However, Sweeney enjoying a Friday date night with beau Jonathan Davino would be enough to put the rumors to rest.

What is the situation with Glen Powell and Gigi Paris?

On the other hand, all is not well between the GP square. According to a source who confirmed to E! News, the pair have broken up. Gigi fuelled speculation that her relationship was in trouble when she posted a cryptic message on Instagram that read, "Know your worth & onto the next." The April 26 post was accompanied by a video of the model dressed in black smiling and walking away from the camera.

Observant fans have noticed that Gigi is no longer following Glen on the social media platform, fueling speculation that the two have split. Previously, she had also unfollowed Sydney Sweeney on Instagram.

However, some fans are not yet convinced that Sweeney is dating Powell. One fan said, "There is no need to speculate bro y’all know Sydney Sweeney cheating on brah." One fan, however, commented, "Part of me feels this Sydney Sweeney drama is a publicity stunt for their movie," to which a Sweeney stan posted the photos from date night with the caption, "She was seen with her fiance yesterday."
