LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sydney Sweeney, the 25-year-old sensation from 'Euphoria', opened up about her experience filming the upcoming movie 'Anyone But You' alongside co-star Glen Powell, 34. The talented actress, who was recently spotted at the Cannes Film Festival, shared that she and Powell shared laughter every day on set.
"It was so much fun, honestly. We laughed every single day, and the cast and crew were just a bunch of really great people, and we all got along," Sydney said in an interview with Variety. The chemistry between Sydney and Powell has been evident in photos captured on their Australian movie set and during red-carpet appearances, causing quite a stir of love rumors among fans.

Although Powell was dating model Gigi Paris at the time, they announced their split in late April amidst rumors of a romance with Sydney, which both parties denied. Speaking to the publication about the film, Sydney expressed her excitement about venturing into the romantic comedy genre, stating, "That was the first time I've done something like that. So I definitely enjoyed it. And I might look for some more."

Reflecting on her time filming 'Anyone But You', Sydney described it as a "summer camp" experience, providing a refreshing change from her previous projects. "It felt like summer camp. It was a great breather from everything else I've done," she shared. During the premiere of her biopic 'Reality,' Sydney expressed how much she enjoyed filming the project, describing it as a blast. She emphasized the fun she had on set, stating, "I mean, Australia was such a beautiful place to film, and the cast and crew were so much fun. I've never laughed so much on a set before. I had a really good time. I was living my best life. I loved it."
'I don't date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment!'
Romance rumors continued to swirl, especially when Sydney and Powell were spotted together at the Taronga Zoo in Australia, accompanied by some of Powell's family members. However, despite the gossip, Sweeney remains "engaged" to her fiance, Jonathan Davino, who proposed last year, and added that Sydney and Powell "are not dating," according to TMZ. In a previous interview, Sweeney revealed that she prefers not to date individuals in the spotlight, opting for normalcy that is easier to maintain. She explained, "I don't date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way, and it's easiest," reported Cosmopolitan.
Sydney and Jonathan were first linked in 2018 when they were spotted attending various events together. As for Powell's relationship with Gigi Paris, a source told People magazine that they had been on the rocks since the release of 'Top Gun'. The long-distance filming in Australia for 'Anyone But You' ultimately led to their decision to break up. The source clarified that Gigi did not suspect any cheating between Powell and Sydney.
Regarding Gigi's decision to unfollow Sydney on social media, the source explained, "Gigi only unfollowed Sydney on social media because Sydney never followed her back. This had nothing to do with Glen and Sydney. Gigi is aware that Glen and Sydney never hooked up." They further emphasized that Powell takes his work seriously, which put a strain on the relationship.
