The multidimensional Syd Wilder was in attendance at the recent American Influencer Awards. The actress, model, writer, and digital influencer is currently busy with her podcast titled ‘Girl Insta-rupted’ which addresses mental health awareness, acceptance, self-love, and more. When MEA Worldwide (MEAWW) met with her on the red carpet, Wilder spoke in length about her new child ‘Girl Insta-rupted’.

On being asked about her inspiration to create the podcast and the journey to get there, the social media fame responded, “That’s such a deep answer. So, I went to a Psych Ward and my first episode is with my therapist who 5150ied me. So it’s all about mental health, internal beauty, Hollywood and now I’m here and I’m back, talking to you on the red carpet.”

Wilder believes in remaining true to herself and says how that’s the only way she can influence people across the world who look up to her. Addressing the much-prevalent issue concerning mental health and the obstacles that keep people from achieving their goals, she thanked MEAWW for asking her the “deepest red carpet interview question ever."

“My first advice would be to be yourself. No matter who that is and it doesn’t matter who thinks how weird it is or whatever, be yourself. Love yourself. There’s so many people tonight at this event who I would like to touch and give this message to”, Wilder added.

Being able to spend quality time with her mother has been the happiest thing she has experienced this year. Wilder’s mother was also a part of one of the latest episodes of her daughter’s podcast, which has brought the mother-daughter duo closer than ever and also created a special bond between them.

The digital influencer is grateful for connecting with her fans and making them realize that they are not the only ones to be suffering from mental illnesses.

Apart from writing and producing over 40 sketches for her Youtube channel through her production company that she started in 2014, Syd Wilder has featured in several TV shows, SYFY movies, and indie films.
