As the final season of The CW's long-running 'Supernatural' continues to regale fans who have become part of the "SPN Family", one the two protagonists of the show, Jared Padalecki, who portrays Sam Winchester, has been arrested and faces two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication. He reportedly struck both a bartender and the club's general manager in the face.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the inebriated 37-year-old can be seen putting someone into a headlock at the Stereotype bar - where he is a regular - before he was put in the cop car. According to eyewitnesses, Padalecki struck a bartender in the face when he was inside the building,  but was taken outside by a 'friend' who tried to calm him down. However, he is the man who is put in a headlock by the actor, at which point police intervened. He can be seen waving a wad of cash at the police officers as well. His bond has reportedly been set at $15,000, $5,000 per charge.

Padalecki, who is a Texan native, has posted about Stereotype previously, and was even at the grand opening of the 90s-themed club, described as "Studio 54 meets the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Saved by the Bell with a nod to Rubell" in September 2018.

The actor, who is married to his 'Supernatural' co-star Genevieve Padalecki, has three children together and has been very open about his battle with depression. He has been part of many campaigns to spread awareness about mental health and raise funds for the same as well. Much like his many co-stars, Padalecki has also been having a hard time saying goodbye to 'Supernatural' after its 15-year-run.

"I feel like I’ll never really say goodbye to him. We really have become a family," he said, adding, "Over 15 years, we’ve cut the fat. "We didn’t fire anybody but if they didn’t like being there, they move on. So the people that are there want to be there.”

It remains to be seen if Padalecki has been bailed out, but his SPN family is surely by his side, posting comments of support online, such as: "Sure, he is sad cause supernatural went off. I wouldn't blame him. Don't no the full story. We have your back jared!" and "He is an amazing man and actor, he does so much good in this world why don't you post that. He is human and I get a target since he is a celebrity but 6 months ago you wouldn't have bothered posting a story about him." Meanwhile, another commenter pointed out, "Yes he’s screwed up, but that doesn’t exclude all the great things he’s done, and how good of a person he is."
