'Supergirl' Season 5: With 4 episodes to go for the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths', the show is yet to address the impending multiverse battle

In shows like 'The Flash' and 'Arrow', the Crisis has already been addressed, with Barry Allen tearfully preparing his friends and family for his long-prophesied death while Oliver Green is also on a similar path

This year's fateful 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' promises to be epic in every way, as it spans the shows — 'Supergirl', 'Batwoman', 'The Flash', 'Arrow' and DC's 'Legends of Tomorrow'. The superheroes will take on the Anti-Monitor, who intends to wipe out the Multiverse.

In shows like 'The Flash' and 'Arrow', the Crisis has already been addressed, with Barry Allen tearfully preparing his friends and family for his long-prophesied death.

In the fourth episode of 'The Flash', there were emotional moments between Barry Allen and his close friend, who are still trying to come to terms with it.

His best friend Cisco tells Barry that he doesn't want to live in a world without him. Yet the core of the episode was when Joe broke down and confessed to Barry that he feared losing him.

Meanwhile, in 'Arrow', which is now in season eight, it has been a farewell of sorts. In each of the episodes, Oliver Queen comes one step closer to sacrificing his life, in order to save the world.

He bid goodbye to his mother on Earth 2 and said farewell to Katana, who had helped him retain his humanity during season three.

Emotions are running high, and the stakes have never been higher. Goodbyes are being said, and everyone is struggling with the dark reality that is to hit them.

However, 'Supergirl' doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry yet, and instead, focusses on the trouble coming from Leviathan, though Kara stands to lose just as much as the other characters in the Arrowverse.

In the previous episode, Kara is still investigating the mysterious Andrea Rojas, and all the attention is being channeled towards Leviathan. So, with four episodes left to go for December 8 when 'Supergirl' heads into the 'Crisis', how will the show address the fate of the multiverse?

In the comics, Supergirl is killed during the 'Crisis', but it's obvious that’s not going to happen on the show. The 'Crisis' will kick off on Sunday, December 8, on 'Supergirl' followed by a Monday episode for 'Batwoman', and a Tuesday episode for 'The Flash'.
