Spoilers for 'Succession' series finale

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It’s not easy to be a part of the corporate culture and if your father is running a massive company, you know the baton will ultimately be passed on to you. When Logan Roy (Brian Cox) died, the fight for the throne began and every Roy sibling – Roman, Kendall, and Shiv – wanted to sit on it. In the recent episodes, viewers realized that Kendall and Shiv are going to be the main players here while Roman gets to play the role of an anchor. The penultimate episode made it clear that Kendal was undoubtedly the right person to lead the company, but Shiv will do anything and everything to make the board of Waystar Royco understand why she is the perfect choice to lead ATN.

However, it seems Roman (Kieran Culkin) is one guy that both siblings need. His inability to handle emotional situations made everyone realize that he might not be the best guy to be the co-CEO, but if Kendall or Shiv wants to be the next leader, they would need Roman on their side and that’s what happens in the series finale of ‘Succession’. Kendall and Shiv are trying to count how many people they have on their respective sides. At first, Roman was going to be on Kendall’s side, but after Logan’s funeral, everything changed. He was hurt by the protestors and no one knew where he went after the funeral. It turns out he went to his mother’s house, trying to be away from all the noise.

Roman is nowhere to be seen

Shiv is the first one to know about Roman and doesn’t waste any time heading toward her mother’s house. On the other hand, Kendall also gets to know about his whereabouts and leaves immediately. The emotions are pretty high and both, Roy and Kendall, want to have Roman on their side. Kendall just barges in and talks to Roman about what just happened to him and how did he suffer those injuries. However, he was more concerned about Roman’s vote. Roman was annoyed with what was happening and said that every one of them is “fu***d.”

Kendall keeps on reminding him that Roman made a promise to him and they are in it together. But Roman doesn’t want to be a part of the conversation and leaves the table. It seems Roman is having second thoughts and he still hasn’t chosen who he would be extending his support to.

Is Kendall panicking?

Kendall is obviously panicking, but Shiv seems to be relaxed because according to her, she has the numbers, and no one can stop her from becoming the next CEO. Will Roman’s vote decide who will be the next CEO? Well, it seems so. Let’s see who Roman chooses.
