MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Cindy Crawford applauded the femininity as she shared a very rare throwback image with some of her family members on the occasion of International Women’s day. The 57-year-old Vogue model, who never shies away from sharing happy photos of her famous family, took to her Instagram on Wednesday, March 8, to share a picture with her mother, and grandmothers.

The picture captured Cindy beaming from ear to ear as she posed with her mother, Jennifer Sue Crawford-Moluf. The ‘Fair Game’ star sat next to her paternal grandmother, Ramona Crawford, who unfortunately died in 2021. Cindy’s maternal grandmother, Dorothy, in a black and white jacket, was also seen striking a twinkling smile in the picture. The Vogue darling opted for a minimal make-up look and adorned blue top that she paired with dark blue denims.

'Strong and loving women'

The catwalk queen captioned the image writing, "So grateful to be have been surrounded by strong and loving women since the day I was born and I continue to value my female friends, my sisters, and my mommy. Women allow me the space to share and be vulnerable and get support." Cindy added, "My friends especially see me through a lens of kindness. They remind me to try to see myself through that same lens. #InternationalWomensDay." The flashback image soon garnered impeccable attention on social media with more than 16,000 likes and thousands of comments. Cindy's close friend, Linda Evangelista, hit the like button and left four heart emojis.

This post came after Cindy, who grew up in Illinois with her family, left fans astonished with her unrecognizable look in a topless video. The Vogue model, who went make-up-free for the Instagram post, played with her messy hair while trying to flick it forward on her forehead as she flaunted her face in all angles. "Baby hairs in the sauna," the beauty captioned the post.

'I don't like the word diet'

Previously, Cindy revealed that she has ditched tough workouts as she opened up about her journey with exercise and her diet over the years. She admitted she used to get 'annoyed' seeing Kate Moss, 47, eating fast food and smoking cigarettes and still staying the same size. "I don't like the word 'diet' but I still choose to eat well," Cindy told the 2021 issue of Red magazine according to Daily Mail.

"I was never one of the people who could eat what I wanted – even I used to get annoyed when Kate Moss would be eating a burger and fries and smoking a cigarette!" she added. "When I moved to New York, I knew I was going to have to change the way I ate or I wouldn't be able to get into the clothes – and, by the way, the clothes were much bigger than the sample sizes now. But the way I've exercised has changed," Cindy concluded.
