After the second episode of the fourth season, which aired on Thursday, November 19, 2020, ABC’s hit firefighter drama will take a one-week break and then return to schedule on December 3, 2020. The break is due to Thanksgiving celebrations as the entire United States will be busy at home with their families.

Many fans are shocked to see Chief Dixon be back on the show. "Why the hell does former Chief Dixon get a say?
