'Station 19' Season 4 Episode 15: Will Ruiz save Vic from fire? Fans don't want them to reunite
There's nothing quite like being rescued from a burning building by a former love interest to get the feelings flowing once again. In the upcoming episode of 'Station 19', we see that Victoria Hughes' (Barrett Doss) parents' restaurant has caught fire. When she arrives panic-stricken at the scene with best friend Travis Montgomery (Jay Hayden) in tow, we see that Vic's former love interest and fellow firefighter Theo Ruiz (Carlos Miranda) is at the scene too.
We haven't seen much of Ruiz since their ill-fated romance fizzled out for a number of reasons, primarily due to the fact that Ruiz was the one responsible for Travis' husband's death. Vic then seemed to move on from this relationship, which seemed to be a no starter, not due to a lack of an emotional connection but because of the circumstances. In the last episode of 'Station 19', it seemed like Ruiz was history, considering Vic told Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan) that she loved him too after he was rescued from falling overboard from a cruise ship. But are Vic's feelings for Ruiz truly all in the past?

Some fans feel that Ruiz will play Vic's knight in shining armor in the upcoming episode and will save her from the explosion that takes place shortly after Vic rushes into her parents' building. One fan on YouTube said, "Yess Ruiz come do that hero thang!!"
Others however were against any talk of Vic and Ruiz reuniting. One fan on YouTube said, "I really don't get why people want Vic to go back to Ruiz when she doesn't even like him anymore. Also why are y'all saying Dean and Vic are better off as friends? We don't know how they could be as a couple yet. Besides Dean doesn't deserve to be alone with Pru and he shouldn't have to bury his feelings for Vic. And other than that didn't you see how devastated Vic was when Dean kicked her out of his home and how terrified of losing him forever? There is no reason why she shouldn't have meant it when she said she loved him too. We are going to see a slowburn love story between these two in the upcoming fifth season. Period."
Others were wondering if Ruiz would come in harm's way trying to rescue Vic. One fan on YouTube said, "Vic is not going to die it will Probably be the ex bf saving her and either getting injured or dying in the process."
