Why did Kathryn Dennis leave 'Southern Charm'?
After a successful eight seasons, Kathryn Dennis decided to bid farewell to 'Southern Charm.' Her decision was primarily motivated by the ongoing custody battle for her two children, 8-year-old daughter Kensington Calhoun and 6-year-old son Saint Julien.
Both children were conceived during the filming of the show. Kathryn's tumultuous relationship with Thomas Ravenel played a role in her exit, as she accused him of being emotionally unavailable.
Following their breakup, joint custody arrangements were in place, but eventually, Thomas gained full custody, arguing that Kathryn was unfit to raise the kids. Additionally, the 'Southern Charm' production team had grown tired of Kathryn's consistent unreliability during shoots, causing disruptions in the process.
