Baby Sonic in 'Sonic the Hedgehog’ becomes Twitter’s new obsession, fans call it Baby Yoda replacement

Not long ago, by introducing Baby Yoda, ‘The Mandalorian’ went on to become the hot topic of discussion on social media. And, days later, the adorable character is now getting outshone by an equally adorable version of the classic character Baby Sonic and fans couldn’t get enough of it! 

Paramount Pictures’ upcoming release ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ in an exclusive Japanese trailer introduced Baby Sonic, setting Twitter ablaze, with endless tweets about this adorable baby, which now seems to have become the new obsession!

Upon watching the mind-blogging CG wonder, fans aren’t hesitating from even calling it replacement of Baby Yoda and we couldn’t tell how the ‘Star Wars’ fans are going to treat the reactions. 

Drawing a comparison between the two lovable characters, a fan wrote, “baby yoda is capitalism further weaponizing nostalgia by making it also a baby. a "baby yoda" isn't art, it's a semiotic golem stitched together in a disney boardroom to set off dopamine receptors in old nerds. baby sonic is all about attitude, baby”

Meanwhile, a few fans who weren’t convinced with Baby Yoda are expecting Baby Sonic to impress them. “Just sayin, Baby Yoda would absolutely wreck Baby Sonic’s whole shop, don’t mess with my beautiful perfect son!” a fan wrote. 

Another added, “I am going to punt baby sonic across the universe and nobody can stop me”

With the craze surrounding ‘Baby Sonic’ increasing by the minute, some of the fans are already seen bidding farewell to ‘Baby Yoda’. “Forget Baby Yoda, We have Baby Sonic”, a tweet read. 

Another fan added, “Baby Sonic look like he’ll eat Baby Yoda and hide the remains in your backyard.”

“Count your days Baby Yoda. In just a couple months, you’ll just be some rat we’ve thrown in the trash to make room in our hearts for Baby Sonic.” 

‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ is set to release on February 18, 2020. We need to wait and watch if Baby Sonic will act as another weapon in the movie, after winning hearts with its lovable appeal.
