Social media takes aim at Camilla in vicious conspiracy theory over Meghan Markle's 'racist royal' allegation

Vicious conspiracy theories are being circulated via tweets about Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in particular, for being racist.

In the wake of Meghan Markle's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey over the weekend, many have taken to social media to target members of the royal family over perceived grievances. The Sussexes' interview on CBS stood out in terms of the number of revelations. For instance, Markle admitted to having "suicidal thoughts". She also said reports of her making Kate Middleton cry were false and clarified that it was, in fact, the other way around.

However, the most shocking reveal of the interview came when Oprah Winfrey and Meghan Markle spoke about the latter's firstborn, Archie, who by virtue of being Prince Harry's son, is seventh in line for the British throne, just after his father. Markle admitted in the interview that the palace did not want Archie to be a prince, and more shockingly, that an unnamed royal family member had conversations with Harry regarding Archie's skin color.

Markle alleged that in conversations between her husband and an unnamed royal, the person expressed concerns about "how dark the baby is going to be potentially and what that would mean or look like." Markle did not name the royal because it "would be very damaging for them."

Oprah Winfrey also spoke to Harry about the conversation he had with his family. Harry said, "That conversation, I am never going to share. At the time, it was awkward, I was a bit shocked." Harry refused to speak about the questions that were asked during those conversations, adding that he isn't "comfortable" sharing that. "But it was right at the beginning. What will the kids look like? That was at the beginning when she wasn't going to get security when my family suggested that she might continue acting (because there wasn't going to be money for her)."

Markle's incendiary revelations have led to many speculating on the unnamed royal's identity. Vicious tweets on social media have targetted Prince Charles, and his wife, Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, in particular, in rumors and conspiracy theories about the senior royal couple being racist toward Meghan Markle. One user tweeted, "It’s all Charles. It’s all Charles and Camilla. And they knew exactly what to do to Meghan because they did it all to Diana. #OprahMeghanHarry"

A user referred to Camilla in a derogatory way, saying, "Charles so quick to pick up the phone for that hoe ass Camilla but not his son???? Charles will be and always be a weak man. Thank God Harry doesn’t have to worry. Harry is his momma through and through. So proud of them both. They are free." Another tweeted, "So it looks like Prince Charles/Camilla are the issue? Meghan praised the Queen during the interview. Im not shocked."

One user tweeted, "How the hell does CAMILLA have more security than Baby ARCHIE!! He is blood born royalty!! She’s just a woman that Charles banged while still being married to Diana. I’m livid rn!!#HarryandMeghanonOprah." Another opined while retweeting a video of Oprah's reaction to Markle talking about the skin color conversation, "This has got Charles or Camilla vibes written all over it."
