'SNL' is not shying away from being political as it took a dig at President Donald Trump with a parody that focused on the controversial hot mic incident at the recent NATO conference.

In the hilarious skit, Jimmy Fallon played the role of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Paul Rudd was French President Emmanuel Macron and James Corden played UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The skit showcased the three as cool kids who wanted to show that they are better than others. They first do so by pushing the Romanian president to another table then by adding that President Donald Trump did not have a shot at being part of their cool kid group.

The world leaders did not try to hide their hatred for Trump as they made fun of him behind his back.

"That guy is a mess," Trudeau says in the video. Turning the discussion to climate change, Macron says: "Did you hear him talk about climate change the other day? He said we need stronger toilets!"

Trudeau then adds, "He's dumber than Boris." On hearing this, Corden, who plays Johnson, starts laughing hysterically.

The leaders then pretended to wave at Trump to make him believe that they are his friends.

The scene then shifts to Trump acknowledging them, and saying that they are his friends and that they "run this place."

Later in the skit, Trump ends up sitting next to the president of Latvia and realizes that he was not part of the cool kid gang.

"Oh my God, I'm at the loser table," Trump says. "I can't believe they made me sit with the foreign kid."

Fans of the show seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the skit as one wrote, "PERFECT! Trump is going to erupt in a Tweetstorm after tonight’s awesome SNL opening!!" Another added, "Bold AF and I LOVED it!!!"

"Bringing in Jimmy Fallon as Trudeau, Paul Rudd as Macron, and James Corden as Boris Johnson in the NATO "high school" cafeteria while ragging on Baldwin's Trump was a great touch," wrote another fan.
