Slain Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves' sister Alivea slams web sleuths prying into family's past

MOSCOW, IDAHO: Alivea Goncalves, sister of Kaylee Goncalves, came up with a set of points slamming the web sleuths regarding Kaylee's death and people who are trying to dig into their family's past. The explanation comes in at a point where the police are considering Kaylee as the key to finding the killer.
According to a recent Reddit post, Alivea explains, "We have no “bad ties” There is absolutely no illegal activities (the FBI is involved, you really think you wouldn’t have heard of an arrest on one of us if there was ANYTHING?)."

She claims about the Range Rover Kaylee bought a few days ago, "We never made a deal about Kaylee Range Rover. Everyone else did. Kaylee was an extremely hard worker and worked for everything she had. She had a super good paid internship, and the company had offered her FTE starting Jan 1. It’s important to her and to us that she is remembered this way."
Her sister also added about their Thanksgiving Day plans and how her family was worried about Kaylee driving alone, "She was home because she worked from home and could be. We’re a big family. We take a lot of comfort in being around one another." Further, she added, "She also was helping my mom decorate for Christmas and plan Thanksgiving in preparation for my return trip home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Assuming my mom was trying to convince Kaylee to stay is just that, assumption. But the roads were also icy and we always worry about Kaylee making that drive herself." Alivea further explained, "We have never said this attack was targeted on Kaylee." This statement comes after strong allegations that Kaylee had a stalker, reported The Sun.
Meanwhile, she also came to defend her father, Steve, who recently slammed the police, claiming that they have not updated about the investigation after thanksgiving. Alivea wrote, "Kaylee once again had a lot of friends and family. I personally called in tips. Anything and everything I could remember, big or small. Also, please be cognizant that these interviews are often cut and edited to display things, but if my dad did do that, it’s because he just lost his daughter. It’s not his job to always be strong right now. He knows he can rely on me to help if and when he needs it. Not as a coaching or rehearsal deal but because sometimes you just don’t have it in you to answer a certain question."
Alivea also explained in her post, "I do not know who killed her. I wish I did. & I can promise that I will find him & I will know. But I am still getting there piece by piece." She added, "I have stated multiple times that we talk for Kaylee and Maddie. I didn’t personally know Xana & Ethan and would never claim to." "Of course we feel absolutely terrible. That was our sister, our daughter, our children’s aunt. I’ve always protected her. But this time we couldn’t. It’s a miserable and helpless feeling that I genuinely help you do not ever experience," Alivea concluded.
'I feel so awful for her'
The Internet was quick to react to this post. A Reddit user said, "God. I feel so awful for her. For all of them. I don’t know if I could be as strong as her if this had happened to my sister." Another wrote, "I agree and while I understand LE’s desire to absolutely keep certain info private, I also 💯believe this family is doing the very, very best they can. One of my BFF’s is an FBI agent of 20+ years; we are both Mothers and Sisters and agree that it is an absolute necessity to keep the person you love/ have lost in the news and on the minds of anyone who could help in any capacity. What an amazing sister Alivea is and their Father is displaying a strength beyond words."

What a devastating Thanksgiving and holiday season this must be for K's family - all the victims' families - and will be going forward. My heart breaks for them all." "The fact her family has to come out and say this. People are ruthless," said another user. Another claimed, "I hope she gets Justice & closure. I can only imagine what she is going through.."
Meanwhile, a user explained, "I admire Alivea and her ability to keep the focus on the facts. I have to believe that the will find the murderer because she will never stop hunting. The public needs to stop spreading baseless rumors which LE has to take time address. The rumors are hurting all the families. I’m praying now that students are returning that LE will find the killer soon." Another user explained, "Kaylee`s sister is very strong and determined. I love how she`s hands-on and is doing everything she can to help. But with that being said. I do think Kaylee`s family simply does not trust the Moscow Police."
