'Shoutout to Jack Frost!' Chance the Rapper reveals Martin Short swapped plane seats for his seven-year-old daughter Kensli
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chance the Rapper recently recalled a surprise act of kindness from Martin Short when he swapped plane seats with his seven-year-old daughter so she could sit next to him. The 29-year-old Chicago rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, took to Twitter on Sunday, February 27 to tell everyone about the heart-warming incident between the 'Only Murders in the Building' star and his daughter, Kensli.
"I really ain't wanna inconvenience anyone by asking them to swap seats, but before I could say anything this kind older gentleman offered his seat to Kensli so we could sit together,' he wrote in the tweet, adding, "We both said thank you and as he stands up, I realize it's THE Martin Short!' The ‘Sunday Candy’ rapper also noted that Short had no idea who he was but Kensli immediately recognized the actor. "Kensli freaked out 'cause she's obsessed with The Santa Clause 3," he said, adding, "What an awesome person! SHOUTOUT TO JACK FROST."

'Typical Marty'
Chance’s story soon garnered immense social media attention, with one user joking that they would have left their daughter alone and cherished the chance to sit close to the actor if they had been in Chance's shoes. "My daughter could have sat by herself. Marty would have been a delight," the user said. The rapper then joined in on the joke and said he could have shared a film script - a sequel to the 1986 hit Three Amigos. "'Oh thanks so much but the little girl will be fine where she is… *opens laptop* ANYWAYS this a lil script I've been working on it's called 'Four Amigos!''" Chance said.
