Does Shawn Mendes have a foot fetish? Social media users are trying hard to wrap their heads around the singer's latest Instagram post with girlfriend Camila Cabello, in which he's seen kissing her foot, while she's making a duck face posing for the camera. Mendes wanted to display his love for his lady and he chose to do it in a way that's given rise to many questions among his fans. 

On February 14, he shared a picture with the 'Senorita' singer and captioned, "I kiss your foot cuz I love you @camila_cabello". The picture clocked hundreds and thousands of likes and comments in no time, including one from Cabello herself. She commented, "Love u Papo." While the many adored the couple in the picture, Mendes's good friend and American musician Ryan Tedder joked about the post as he commented, "I thought u were A Vegan???"

Fans ask him to 'delete' the picture 

To Mendes, kissing his girlfriend's foot was a gesture of love, but it hasn't sat well with many, as they are seen asking him to delete the post. One of his fans commented under his Instagram post, "Shawn delete this." Another wrote, "Shawn baby you could’ve posted ANY picture you don’t even know how much I hate foot pics I- babe I loved you😭 wiswkekemksm help" And one of them said, "I love u but I’m blocking you for this".

However, the singer seemed to pay no heed to the trolls as his post remains intact. Meanwhile, Cabello shared another picture of them kissing each other on lips on her Instagram account and captioned it, "Verified my Valentine’s got a ponytail! happy love and friendship day @shawnmendes"

Mendes's picture sends Twitter into a frenzy 

It was only a matter of time before the "bizarre" picture of the love birds made it to Twitter, triggering more reactions from the platform's users, who have expressed a range of emotions about the singer's fascination with his beau's foot. Mendes became the hot topic of discussion on Twitter and his name started to trend, encouraging more people to express their opinion about his Valentine's Day post.
