‘I went Hollywood’: Sharon Stone shows off oversized lips as she celebrates 65th birthday
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood icon Sharon Stone joked about getting giant lip fillers as she showed off her new dramatic look while celebrating her 65th birthday on Friday, March 10. The ‘Catwoman’ star took to Instagram to share a slew of pictures featuring her transformed look with a pair of oversized red lips made of Wax Lips, the common name for a cherry-flavored candy.
Stone sported polka dot pajamas in the relaxed and unfiltered photos. The blonde stunner also showed off her unkempt bedhead after appearing to have just woken up, along with a pair of large black reading frames. In another snap, the actress posed with her presents and red birthday balloons while lying in bed. "I did it," she wrote in the caption. "Finally. For my birthday, I went to Hollywood. Sometimes you get EXACTLY what you wish for."

‘Lovely lovely birthday’
The ‘Basic Instinct’ star later thanked her admirers for their wishes as she shared a photo showing off a lavish gift of red roses. “Lovely lovely birthday. Thank you, everyone,” she captioned the post. Sharon also re-shared a picture of herself taken during the start of her decades-long career, which was released by the People magazine's official Instagram page. She ended her birthday spam by sharing a quote from a pro-aging Instagram account. "Age is irrelevant," the passage read. "Ask me how many sunsets I've seen, hearts I've loved, trips I've taken, or concerts I've been to [sic]. That's how old I am."

Sharon’s birthday came just days after she admitted that she believes her 1992 raunchy film ‘Basic Instinct’ cost her the custody of her son Roan, who is now 22. Stone adopted her eldest child with journalist Phil Bronstein, 72 - whom she was married to from 1998 to 2004. "I lost custody of my child," she told Bruce Bozzi on his ‘Table for Two’ podcast, "when the judge asked my child - my tiny little, tiny boy: "Do you know your mother makes sex movies?""

‘Abuse by the system'
She stated that losing custody of her child when he was just eight years old was a "kind of abuse by the system." "I was considered what kind of parent I was because I made that movie," she said. "People are walking around with no clothes on at all on regular TV now. You saw maybe a sixteenth of a second of possible nudity of me and I lost custody of my child." She also revealed how the trauma took a toll on her physical and mental health. "I ended up in the Mayo Clinic with extra heartbeats in the upper and lower chambers of my heart," she revealed, according to Daily Mail. "It broke my heart. It literally broke my heart."
