Is Sharon Osbourne OK? Former 'Talk' co-host, 70, rushed to hospital after suffering medical emergency on set
VENTURA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Television personality Sharon Osbourne was rushed to hospital after a terrifying medical emergency she suffered while on set for a new TV show. The 70-year-old host "fell ill" during the shoot of a paranormal show taking place at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California.
The incident took place on Friday, December 16 after which she was taken to the hospital. The Ventura County Fire Department's spokesperson informed that around 6.30 pm local time, they received a "medical call" from the tavern. Chief Don Aguilar confirmed Sharon was the patient and she was then taken to Santa Paula Hospital, according to TMZ.

The 'Charm School' alum's medical condition is not yet known and a manager of the Glen Tavern said it was an 'emergency' and did not provide further details, reports TMZ. Osbourne had not mentioned any major health concerns before which makes it unclear to know the medical condition that led to her emergency hospitalization.
The last time Osbourne gave any update on her health was in May when she shared a post on Instagram revealing that she tested Covid positive. Giving a peace sign from bed, the TV star posted a picture of herself taking an IV drip. Soon after she left the facility, Osbourne returned back to work as she appeared on UK television.
The former 'Talk' show host was going through a tough time as she had been taking care of her husband Ozzy Osbourne, the rock 'n roll legend who is suffering from Parkinson's disease and other health problems. He reportedly had a 'life-altering back surgery'.
In June, Sharon posted an Instagram story where she gave updates on Ozzy's health as she wrote: “Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery.”
In a recent interview with The Sun, Ozzy revealed that Sharon’s heart is ‘breaking’ to see him like this – but added things could be worse. "I thought I was going to have f***ing bolts in my neck,’ he admitted. ‘F***ing bolts."
He said he has ‘never’ been ‘laid up so bad for so long,’ but is determined the get better. "It’s been breaking Sharon’s heart to see me like this but I will get back on tour if it f***ing kills me," he vowed.
Sharon and Ozzy have been married for 40 years. She recently celebrated her 70th birthday at a star-studded 20s themed party surrounded by her husvband and children.
