'WHO THE HELL CHEATS ON SHAKIRA': Fans slam partner Gerard Pique after split from superstar

After 11 years Shakira and Gerard Pique have announced they are no longer together. "We regret to confirm that we are parting ways," they said in a statement to E! News. "For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding."

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was reportedly caught cheating on Shakira - his partner since 2011. The footballer met the popstar after appearing in the music video for her single ‘Waka Waka,’ which was the 2010 World Cup's official song.

With two children, Milan and Sasha, the couple has been in a relationship since 2011, but haven't got married yet. Pique, 35, and Shakira, 45, are a power couple admired by many despite the age difference between them. They share same birthday dates, ten years apart.

As reported by El Periodico, several neighbours spotted Prique at his Muntaner bachelor house, where he stayed earlier before moving in with Shakira. They have seen him in the building entering and leaving over the last week. The report also added that Shakira caught him with another woman. This is the reason Pique and Shakira have reportedly decided to separate.

Her partner also disappeared from her feed on Instagram; the singer frequently posted pictures of the pair in the past, but since March, she hasn't posted anything. While Pique is staying in Barcelona, their relationship seems to have become like the lyrics sung by Shakira in her latest hit ‘Te Felicito’ with Rauw Alejandro. The lyrics goes like this, “For completing you I broke into pieces; they warned me, but I did not pay attention. I realized that yours is false; it was the drop that overflowed the glass; do not tell me you’re sorry, that seems sincere, but I know you well and I know you lie. I congratulate you, how well you act, of that I have no doubt; with your role continues, you look good that show".

It continues, "I don’t buy that cheap philosophy, I’m sorry, I don’t ride that motorcycle anymore; I can’t stand two-faced people; I used to put my hands on fire for you and you treat me like one more of your whims; your wound didn’t open my skin, but it opened my eyes. My eyes are red from crying so much for you; and now, it turns out that you are sorry; it sounds sincere, but I know you well and I know that you lie; I congratulate you, how well you act."

Additionally, both have avoided uploading anything to their social media platforms in recent times, something that seemed very off to the fans. One of them tweeted, "Gerard Pique has a net worth of 80 million and quite frankly a beautiful wife in Shakira If the reports of him cheating are true it really goes to show money doesn’t really bring happiness."

"WHO THE HELL CHEATS ON SHAKIRA," wrote an agitated fan.

The anger continued, with one saying, "Cheating is a horrible thing to do for anyone, but cheating on Shakira man, that’s next level… Pique has really fumbled the bag."
