Why did Drew Sidora amend her divorce filing?

We have witnessed the couple's rocky relationship on the show and that was just the beginning. Both Drew and Ralph have sought to divorce each other, but Drew recently filed an amended divorce paperwork in Gwinnett County Superior Court. She has claimed that she can no longer put up with Ralph's constant disrespect and mental abuse. Drew also revealed that Ralph allegedly permitted "his multiple paramours to have direct contact" in order to advertise their relationships in front of her.

It was not only his serial cheating that contributed to the downfall of their marriage. Drew additionally said in the divorce papers that her husband's "cruel treatment" had gotten worse and worse over the month of February. According to the documents, after one argument, Drew allegedly fell to the ground after Pittman apparently forced her to give over her cell phone. She also shared that he yanked the phone violently from her grasp. The reality star has also claimed that Ralph "financially abused" her.

The mother of three alleges in the complaint that Ralph has taken charge of all of her "business and personal finances" and has exercised control over her business operations. Drew claims that during their marriage, her earnings have largely taken care of the family's expenses. The paperwork states that Ralph had access to it and used "at least fifty percent or more of all income” to settle "household expenses."

Who will get custody of the children?

The couple has three children, Aniya, 5, Machai, 7, and Josiah, 11 Josiah is Drew’s son from a past relationship. During the course of Ralph's abusive behavior, Drew was worried for her children's mental well-being for some time. She even considered temporarily shifting her children to Chicago and filing a restraint against Ralph.

While the couple has shared in their statements they wish to remain friends and co-parent the children, are seeking custody of the children. Ralph is looking for joint legal and physical custody, however, Drew on the other hand is requesting joint legal but temporary and permanent primary physical custody.
