'Selling Sunset': Chrishell Stause shades Justin Hartley's ex Lindsay Korman for backing him amid divorce saga
2019 was a traumatizing year for 'Selling Sunset' star Chrishell Stause. She was still filming the second season of the hit Netflix show that she stars in when TMZ reported that Justin Hartley had filed for divorce from her. On the show, she claimed to have been blindsided by all the reports that floated the Internet and spread like wildfire. She seems to have recovered from the blow that hit her hard last November. However, the discussions around her divorce have reignited since the third season of the show dropped last week. The season documented her response to the divorce and how she dealt with all the stress that came with it. Many people have been supportive of Chrishell; however, Justin's ex-wife Lindsay Korman has shown support for her ex-husband who also is the father of her 16-year-old daughter, Isabella Justice Hartley.
Justin and Lindsay met each other in 2003 on the sets of 'Passions' and began dating shortly after that. They got engaged that same year. In May 2004, the actors tied the knot and two months later welcomed their daughter Isabella to the world. They were married for eight long years before Lindsay filed for divorce in 2012.
On Tuesday, August 11, she took to her Instagram and detailed her thoughts about Hartley in a lengthy note saying that she's thankful and appreciative to have built a family with the 'This is Us' actor. "In a day when social media should be used for positivity … an inspiration towards movement in an honest and deserving way, I'd like to join, by highlighting my appreciation for my family," Lindsay's note began. "Today, I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being [an] exemplification of a solid man but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter," she continued. "Simply put; for being family. We derive our own opinion of people by experiencing life and time together, and we do our best to hold dear the ones that maintain consistent kindness, love, and generosity." "No matter what conflicts Justin and I had in the past, I appreciate what we have today and I am thankful for the family we have built," she concluded the post that she captioned with a white heart emoji.
On the Netflix show, Chrishell, in a heart-to-heart with her friend and co-star Mary Fitzgerald, had mentioned that Justin informed her that he's filed for divorce over text and 45 minutes later the entire world knew about it. She claimed that she didn't know what caused him to make such an abrupt decision and said that she needs answers just like the entire world does. Justin is yet to speak about his side of the story but he definitely has his ex-wife backing him. As for Chrishell, she took to her Instagram stories shortly after Lindsay's post went up and shared a cryptic message that seems like it was directed towards the former. She shared a photo that read, "Be the woman that fixes another woman's crown without telling the world it was crooked" and wrote a caption across it that read, "Women who build each other up are my tribe."
Even though Justin is yet to comment on this whole divorce saga, it seems like he's not dwelling on the matter anymore. The 'This is Us' star has already sparked romance rumors with a soap opera star Sofia Pernas. As for Chrishell, she seems unbothered by this situation too. In the last episode of the recent season of the Netflix show, she said she was determined to start life afresh and if her social media activity is anything to go by, she's doing exactly as she set out to do while also basking in the success of the show.
