'SEAL Team' Season 3 Episode 7: Clay gets an admirer in Rebecca and fans want him to move on from Stella

Towards the beginning of episode seven, Clay Spenser attends the funeral of Ambassador Nicole Marsden and stumbles upon Rebecca. 

Titled 'The Ones You Can't See', the new episode of 'SEAL Team' revolved around Bravo Team as they head out on a mission abroad to help the secret service prevent a sniper attack on U.S. dignitaries. Towards the beginning of episode seven, Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot) attends the funeral of Ambassador Nicole Marsden (Khandi Alexander) and stumbles upon her colleague, Rebecca (Adelaide Kane). 

Judging her by his shoes, she instantly recognizes he is from the military and points it out. She knows he cannot give away much about her death but he tells her that she died a hero. "She died fighting for what she believed in", he says and she calls him a soldier with an idealistic streak. Towards the end of the episode, Clay is surprised to see a package with a pair of brand new shoes. 

He dials her number and says, "Thank you for these shoes. I don't have any place to wear them. Why don't you pick a place and give me an excuse? Someplace nice obviously." So, are Clay and Rebecca going on a date?

Fans are happy to see a new love interest for Clay in season three. "New love interest for clay? I’ll take her over Stella any day!" one tweet read. Another one said, "I am very happy that #Clay seems to have turned a corner with Love+ I really enjoyed the continued character development #SEALTeam."

Many others also spoke about how they want Clay to move on from Stella. "Not gonna lie, I'm good with Clay being way over Stella. He deserves someone who won't bail on him. #SEALTeam", one fan wrote and another one posted, "Clay speaking from experience about moving on from a big break up and talking about nearing other women. I like it!"

"Everything! Dita, princess, Jason, new girl for Clay. Great episode! Excellent writing, again! #SEALTeam," one user posted and another wrote, "And I like Clay's new friend. #SEALTeam She's smart, goes after what she wants." One tweet read: "Rebecca Bowen @AdelaideKane and Clay Spenser @maxthieriot for a date I see that coming." As the next episode titled 'Danger Crossing' airs next Wednesday, November 27 on CBS, it might show whether the two really do have a chance or not.
