This story contains spoilers for 'Schitt's Creek' Season 6 Episode 3

After a hilarious episode last week, 'Schitt's Creek' returns with yet another installment, only this time, warmer than hilarious.

The Rose family's struggle to get out of Schitt's Creek is still going on: Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), Stevie Budd ( (Emily Hampshire) and Roland Schitt (Chris Elliott) are out to check properties — according to Johnny, the next best thing to do in order to expand the Rosebud Empire is to takeover motels.

But in classic 'Schitt's Creek' fashion, the trio amusingly ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time — or perhaps the right place at the wrong time?

However, after Stevie expresses her desire to stop working at the motel and break out of her shell to venture into the world and discover what is in store for her, Johnny is left to his own resources to run the motel.

We had earlier called the possibility of Stevie's intention to leave Schitt's Creek after the Cabaret performance, and it looks like she is ready to spread her wings and fly.

Johnny applies for a loan but is rejected because he doesn't have enough assets and cannot use the Rosebud motel as a guarantee since it is not in his name. He must now find another way to fund the next step.

In an attempt to find out more about herself, Stevie wishes to leave the Creek, and she is planning to interview with a local airline. And to score on the interview, she asks David
Rose (Dan Levy) for help.

However, it quickly turns into a competition because, well, David is David, and extremely confident that he will bag the job instead of Stevie. Spoiler alert: he doesn't.

Meanwhile, Alexis Rose (Annie Murphy), who never ended up going to the Galapagos Islands behind Ted Mullens (Dustin Milligan), is finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with their long-distance relationship, especially with it being their anniversary.

And even as her attempts to chat with him lead to hilariously uncomfortable situations, the couple ensures that the love remains alive.

'Schitt's Creek' airs on Pop TV on Tuesdays, at 9/8c.
