LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' has its own controversies going around, but Thursday, May 8 episode got people teary-eyed. The star guest on the show was the legendary actor and humanitarian Michael J Fox, who came on the show to promote his new Apple TV+ documentary, 'Still: A Michael J Fox Movie'. The show featured Fox with long-time friend and host Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin. The episode was all about discussing Fox's immense contribution to the entertainment industry, his battle with Parkinson's disease, a little dive into his romantic love story with his wife, Tracy Pollan, and his being awarded the Lifetime Achievement award.

But, something that was quite loved by fans was how great of a human being Fox is, fans didn't hold back on commenting about his immense efforts to find a cure for Parkinson's disease through his foundation. But, one thing that struck out as a heartfelt moment was between  Haines and Fox, when 'The View' host shared something heartfelt and thanked him for it.

'We don't know if we'd be here without you'

'The View' host Sara Haines opened up about her mother and how she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. On Thursday's episode, Haines wanted to say something important to Fox, who had visited the show to promote his new Apple TV+ Documentary. Haines thanked Fox and shared that she has grown up watching him and admiring him for his great acting skills but also contributing his life towards finding a cause for Parkinson's. She shared, "One thing I just wanted to say, is that to me you will always be the Michael J Fox, you're hilarious, you're all the things, but simultaneously I don't know if we'd be where we are without you." Haines continued and said, "My mom has Parkinson's and the research your organization and foundation have done has helped her stay off symptoms in a way they weren't have been if a Michael J Fox didn't come along. So, thank you." 

'Great show today ladies'

Fans on the internet were quite happy about this week's episode of 'The View' and showered their appreciation on the internet for the same. One user wrote on Facebook and said, "Great show today ladies with Michael J. Fox, I love him and everything he’s ever done, he is a brave man and has done wonderful work for his Parkinson Foundation!" Another user chimed in with, "Love him! Some people would choose to stay in the house and feel sorry for themselves. He's still out there because while he has Parkinson's, that not who he is, but what he has. He's still MJF, and has chosen to life a full life. He's an inspiration on how to live a full life no matter what obstacles you have thrown at you." One user wrote joyfully and said, "One of my favourite people in the world. Such courage and perseverance. Such an example to all of us. His impact will be enormous." One more fan wrote, "God Bless and help Michael . He is such a fighter. He has been fighting this disease for so long now. Its very painful to see him this way. His attitude is amazing. We must keep him in our prayers."
