CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Sandra Kolalou, a Chicago woman who murdered and dismembered her landlady, also allegedly tried to kill a neighbor earlier this year. It has been alleged that she sang while attacking her. A woman who lived in the same boarding house as Kolalou, 36, said she cornered her in a stairwell, knocked her down, and tried to strangle her. The woman also alleged that Kolalou tried to shove an inhaler down her throat while singing "I'm a doctor, I can kill you. I'm a doctor, I can help you" throughout the attack, according to WKRG.

Last week, Kolalou was arrested for allegedly killing the owner of the same boarding house, 69-year-old Frances Walker, who said she would evict her after neighbors complained of scary behavior. She then allegedly dismembered Walker's body with a butcher's knife and stored her remains in a freezer. She is suspected to have killed Walker's dog too. Kolalou has been charged with first-degree murder and concealment of a homicide.

Kolalou's neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, described her terrifying encounter last January. "She got on top of me, she put her hand over my nose, squeezed it shut," the woman said. "Put her other hand over my mouth, closed it shut. Tried to kill me", reports WKRG

The woman, who battles asthma, had just taken out her inhaler when she ran into Kolalou. She accused the suspect of trying to push the inhaler down her mouth, following which she managed to bite Kolalou's hand and get away. "I had one breath left and I bit what I thought was her hand. What I ended up biting was her finger," she said, saying she was finally able to call for help.

"[Officers] tried to get her up off the floor, tried to take her away. Which they eventually did, taking her to a psychiatric hospital," she recalled. Kolalou was charged with assault after the incident but was later acquitted.

Before her latest arrest, neighbors called the police and said they heard screaming at the boarding house. Officers arrived at the scene to find Kolalou stepping into a tow truck she had hired, and when they approached and attempted to talk to her, she said she knew her rights and refused to open up. Kolalou went to a nearby beach in the tow truck and dumped a large plastic bag in a trash bin.

Kolalou tried to pay the driver with Walker's car, but he refused to take the money. The suspect then tried to attack him with a pocket knife and was eventually nabbed after the altercation. Police found bloody rags in the bin at the beach. Walker's body was found stuffed inside a freezer
