Dasia Johnson murder: NYPD search for six witnesses after woman's dismembered body is found in suitcase

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK CITY: Police are now looking for six witnesses in connection with the dismemberment death of 22-year-old Dasia Johnson, who was found chopped up in two suitcases on September 21. Releasing the photos on Sunday, October 2, NYPD said they are searching for five women and one man, ranging in age from about 18 to 30.
As previously reported, parts of Johnson’s body were found in suitcases inside her Linwood St apartment in the Cypress Hills neighborhood after police were called when someone noticed blood and a bad odor near the apartment. Police said they went into apartment 6F to do a "wellness check" on Johnson and later found the suitcases containing human remains. Neighbors described ongoing abuse by Johnson’s former boyfriend. Following this, on Sunday, October 2, NYPD officers picked up Johnson’s boyfriend, who had at least one warrant out for his arrest in Nassau County. He was later handed over to Nassau County Police, Daily News reports.

Description of six witnesses
According to law enforcement sources, all six witnesses are believed to have been in the apartment after the woman was killed. Here is a brief description of the five women and one man being sought as witnesses in the case, as per The Sun.
Individual 1: A woman considered to be aged between 20-25 years of age. She has a slim build. The woman was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red shirt, black pants, and black shoes. She was carrying a black book bag.
Individual 2: A woman believed to be between 18-25 years of age. She has a slim build, red hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with writing on the front. The woman had on dark-colored pants and was wearing a nose ring.
Individual 3: A woman around 30 years of age. She has a slim build and black hair. The woman was last seen wearing a multi-colored dress and white crocs.
Individual 4: A woman aged between 25-30 years of age. She has a medium build and was last seen wearing a black tank top, white pants, and slippers. She was carrying a blue purse.
Individual 5: A woman believed to be between 18-25 years of age. She has a heavy build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tank top with stripes, gray pants, and slippers.
Individual 6: A man believed to be around 30 years. He has a heavy build. The man was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, camo pants, dark-colored shoes, and a tan baseball hat.
