Samuel Rauda has recently been in the news for surviving an accident over the weekend, which has left his famous celebrity clients praying for him. He underwent a major surgery on Sunday, March 14, following which his family started a GoFundMe to pay for the make-up artist's medical expenses.

The artist met with a horrific accident last week, in which he was thrown off a moving vehicle, a friend, known on YouTube as La Demi, revealed on her Instagram story. Kylie Jenner, one of many of his famous clients, came under fire on social media on Saturday for not funding Rauda, despite being a multimillionaire. Samuel Rauda has been in the beauty industry for a long time. Idol Celebs bills his net worth at  $1.5 million to $5.5 million, while Celeb Net Worth Info bills him at $100 million-$103 million approximately, quoting Wikipedia, Forbes and other sources. The artist has more than 260,000 loyal followers and is at the top with a heavy celebrity clientele including Kylie Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Culpo, Bella Thorne, Stassie Karanikolaou, Khloe Kardashian, Nikita Dragon and 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Erika Jayne.

The beauty guru's YouTube channel 1samsierra, which shows behind-the-scenes looks at his various photoshoots and sessions with clients, was started in May 2009. He was featured in a 2017 Yahoo article that dubbed him one of the “9 Makeup Artists You Need to Follow on Instagram” and praised him for his prowess.



 

Rauda is also an activist who posted videos and photos from the Black Lives Matter protests held in Los Angeles in June 2020, sparked by the death of George Floyd. An Instagram video uploaded by him showed him marching down a Hollywood street with a large group of fellow demonstrators as they held up signs and demanded justice. He captioned the video, “Black Lives Matter! #peaceful protest.”
