LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 29th Screen Guild Awards is all set to begin at Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, California. Some of the big names from the industry have also arrived on the red carpet. As we are almost at the end of the awards season, with the Oscars to be declared next month, some of the stars have already lost their sense of fashion and struggled to make a good fashion statement.
The Screen Guild Awards witnessed fashion disasters from a few celebrities, including Michelle Yeoh, Rooney Mara, Sheila Atim, Jessica Frances Dukes, and others. So here are the ten celebrities who failed to bring in any charm with their outfits during the big evening.

Michelle Yeoh
Yeoh wore a strapless black dress with some straw-like furry structures attached to the front. The design was least attractive to the eyes. When she won the SAG Award for female actor in a leading role, the straw embellishments scratched against the microphone, causing some unpleasant noise. Though the actress had elegant makeup on, her attire was really a disaster.
Rooney Mara
Mara made a mockery out of her look as it looked extremely confusing with its black and white designs. The look of the actress' outfit did not entice the audience or fashion lovers. Though there was a bird design on the front, it did not make the cut and disappointed everyone.
Sheila Atim
Atim's attire was the most chaotic on the list with no clarity on what was going on with a skirt. Both the skirt and the top looked like a perfect fit for a comedy show but not for a red carpet. The color tone, the pleats, the fit of the skirt everything was a total mismatch on the red carpet of SAG 2023.
Jessica Frances Dukes
As Dukes stepped into the red carpet, most of us wondered if she is breathing right. The high feather neck collar look was not even pleasing to the eyes and she seemed to struggle to see through the ones standing in front of her. The enormous cut-out section at the front and the design in the upper part looked horrifying to the eyes and was far away from being elegant.
Patricia Arquette
Though Patricia's dress cannot be considered a disaster, it did not bring in any 'wow' factors to the look. The material was classy but the design in the front and the tiny bag made the look like a misfit on the red carpet. The design and the fitting of the dress will surely be a big no for any fashion enthusiast.
Kal Smith
Smith in a braided wig opted to recreate Kel Mitchell’s look from the 1997 movie ‘Good Burger’. The fashion police may have not expected this diversion from the dress code! There was absolutely zero ingenuity in dressing up in the blue and white striped shirt and white pant uniform.
Amanda Seyfried
Fashion police might have felt extremely disappointed with Seyfried's look who was trying to look as hot as a green chilly. However, her thigh-length top with the green trail hanging behind could bring excitement to any fashion lover. We wonder if she accidentally landed on the red carpet instead of going clubbing with friends.
Viola Davis
Viola Davis, who looked phenomenal at the Emmya, looked so lost in an all-yellow outfit on the red carpet. With no particular design and too much yellow on the eyes, the attire looked extremely displeasing to fashion enthusiasts. Though she came up with a short hair look, Davis did not make the cut this time.
Paul Mescal
The Irish actor, 27, looked a tad bit out of place on the awards show’s red carpet. He was seen in a pearl and diamond encrusted jacket layered over a navy shirt. The ‘Normal People’ star casually styled his brunette locks and wore patent Chelsea boots. The outfit’s baggy appearance only added to his awkward presence on the carpet. We think he could have chosen better.
Joely Fisher
Secretary-Treasurer of the SAG-AFTRA 2021-2023 National Board Joely Fisher's green gown did little to flatter her figure. The extensions at the top and the way the dress pooled at her feet landed her on our list. The voluminous dress and the huge sleeves did remind us of Ursula’s tentacles in ‘The Little Mermaid’.
