'Run': Release date, plot, cast, trailer, news and all you need to know about the Sarah Paulson movie on Hulu
'Run' starring Sarah Paulson in the lead role is a suspense thriller produced by Natalie Qasabian and Sev Ohanian. The film was initially supposed to release during the mother's day weekend in May 2020, however, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film's distribution was acquired by Hulu in August.

Plot:
Here's the official synopsis: "They say you can never escape a mother’s love… but for Chloe, that’s not a comfort — it’s a threat. There’s something unnatural, even sinister about the relationship between Chloe (newcomer Kiera Allen) and her mom, Diane (Sarah Paulson). Diane has raised her daughter in total isolation, controlling every move she’s made since birth, and there are secrets that Chloe’s only beginning to grasp."

Sarah Paulson will play the role of the mother Diane Sherman in the show. On the small screen, Paulson was last seen in Hulu’s Emmy nominated limited series 'Mrs. America', opposite Cate Blanchett, which tells the true story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, and in HBO’s 'Coastal Elites' alongside Bette Midler, Dan Levy, Kaitlyn Dever, and Issa Rae. She previously starred in the eighth installment of Ryan’s Murphy’s award-winning television series 'American Horror Story' for FX.
Kiera Allen as Chloe Sherman
'Run' happens to be Kiera Allen's first film and she stars as Chloe Sherman, Diane's daughter, in it. She is a New York-based actor and writer who has trained in the Meisner technique at Maggie Flanigan Studio. She is currently studying in the undergraduate Creative Writing program at Columbia University.
Other cast members of the movie include Pat Healy as Ted Sherman and Sara Sohn as Kammy.

The film is directed by Aneesh Chaganty who is well known for working on the film 'Searching' and it is written by Chaganty and producer of the film, Sev Ohanian.

The trailer of the movie features how Chloe and Diane's relationship goes through a rough phase after Chloe begins to feel as if she is burdening her mother due to her disability. Initially, Chloe feels guilty for needing her mother every minute of every day, however, upon careful notice, it turns out that Diane is hiding something from her daughter. When Chloe begins to investigate it, her freedom is constrained. First, the internet is disconnected, next, when Chloe figures out that there is something fishy about the medication that her mother gives her, she even attempts to run away from her mother. However, the theme of the film is that one cannot escape a mother's love and the trailer is very much in keeping with the same.
