After the Oscar-winning 'Shallows' being played almost anywhere and everywhere, another Lady Gaga song has managed to soar to the limelight, all thanks to retired NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski. But contrary to the harmonious love ballad that the 'A Star is Born' song has been, Gronkowski presented a whole other side to Gaga's very tough 2011 hit as he crooned what could easily be labeled the best worst rendition of 'You and I' ever.

In an attempt to kill some time backstage before appearing on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', the 30-year-old football pro decided to take up the excruciatingly difficult task of singing the Gaga hit and exhibit his pipes. And while some might consider that the football legend did flop at the song, others might argue he gave a totally different rendition to one of those iconic tunes that only the Mother Monster herself can pull off effortlessly.

Flop or not, the reason behind Gronk's appearance on the talk show was beyond a hit; as he can be seen to put all his heart into the performance, it also turns out that Gronk's appearance on the show was to surprise a young female fan who had been reportedly bullied for playing football. And with him making her football dreams come true, a few off-key tunes here and there can be overlooked. Addressing his new business ventures, Gronk also talked about his partnerships with Snow Teeth Whitening and Byte invisible aligners while on the show so if becoming a vocalist isn't a viable retirement plan he sure has other things going that he excels at!

The January 6 episode also saw host Clarkson herself perform One Direction's 'You and I'; other guests included Jenna Dewan, Luis Fonsi, Curtis Stone preparing a steak and several other entertaining acts throughout the night.
