LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Is former Marvel actor Robert Downey Junior's fate leading him to the DC Extended Universe? On Saturday, the 'Ironman' star Robert Downey Jr shocked fans with his new shaved head look at the 13th Governors Awards in Los Angeles. The 'Ironman' actor, 57, stepped out with his gorgeous wife Susan for the glitzy ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center.
Fans of the actor were left shellshocked at his bald appearance, a far cry from his usual spiky hairstyle but he still looked dapper in his black dinner suit, accompanied by a black tie and neat white shirt, although his wife, Susan oozed elegance as she beamed in a simple black maxi dress. After the pictures surfaced online DC, fans were quick to suggest that RDJ should be playing Lex Luther "without any questions." He has already been a superhero in the Marvel franchise perhaps can the audience witness him as a supervillain now in the DCEU? Suggesting Downey Jr could play 'Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luthor, others simply showed their support for the style.

It is unknown what the future holds but from being a superhero to a supervillain will be an interesting transition considering both the franchises are considered rivals of one another.
Lex Luthor was originally depicted as a narcissistic and egotistical mad scientist from the 1960s to the early 1980s. Since the late 1980s, he has more often been portrayed as the power-mad CEO of LexCorp. He wishes to rid the world of Superman, ostensibly because he views Superman as a threat to humanity, but in reality, envies Superman's popularity and influence. Given his high profile as a supervillain, however, he has often come into conflict with Batman and other superheroes in the DC Universe.
