Are Amber Heard and Elon Musk still together? Fans wonder if Tesla CEO is 'helping' actress monetarily
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VIRGINIA: Ever since the news of Amber Heard hiring new lawyers to appeal the defamation case verdict has gone out, many people have begun speculating that Elon Musk is helping her monetarily. Apparently, a source has even claimed that the actress is still hoping her alleged old flame would help her out amid her legal troubles.
The Tesla CEO was reportedly the one who helped Heard in paying a huge sum of money to a charity group after her divorce from Johnny Depp. Rumors claim that, like the previous time, Musk would once again help the 36-year-old mother-of-one by paying a hefty damage amount to her former husband since she is allegedly not capable of garnering enough money to do it on her own. Heard was ordered to cough up $10.35 million in damages to the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ star after she lost the defamation case against him on June 1 in a Virginia court.

At the time, in a statement, the ‘Aquaman’ actress had said: “It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke up could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women should be taken seriously. I’m sad I lost this case. But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American—to speak freely and openly.”
As per reports, Heard will now be represented by attorneys, David L Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown, instead of lawyer Elain Bredehoft. But she has retained the counsel of Ben Rottenborn. A spokesperson for ‘The Rum Diary’ actress reportedly said, “When it comes to protecting the fundamental right of Freedom of Speech, we look at the jury's decision — to paraphrase a famous quote — not 'as the beginning of the end, but merely the end of the beginning.’”
The new lawyers for Heard also noted, “We welcome the opportunity to represent Ms Heard in this appeal as it is a case with important First Amendment implications for every American. We’re confident the appellate court will apply the law properly without deference to popularity, reverse the judgment against Ms Heard, and reaffirm the fundamental principles of Freedom of Speech.”
Meanwhile, the rumors of Heard and Musk still being together, and him helping her out, won't die out soon, it seems. A user tweeted: “@elonmusk don't you feel stupid for trusting @realamberheard now? All the shit coming out about you and ‘these parties’ you took part in, don't you care about your kids? It's out there for them to see for themselves. I guess you deserve it for helping amber! I feel sad for you!” The second one wrote, “Amber Heard is our modern day villain especially since Elon appears to be helping her.”

“@elonmusk is 100% helping Amber Heard because he wants more heirs,” the third user said. “Hey @elonmusk is #convictedliar #AmberHeard in one way or another sponsored by you? There are rumors on Twitter saying that you are paying for her lawsuit against #JohnnyDepp, which she of course lost. Is there any truth to these accusations? Are you helping her defame Johnny?” the fourth one asked.
