‘Depraved bunch’: Johnny Depp fans react to Amber Heard being spotted with Eve Barlow at Tel Aviv cafe

The recent sighting of the actress with Barlow, who is a journalist and one of her biggest supporters, has attracted a lot of criticisms online

Amber Heard is apparently in Tel Aviv, Israel, months after losing the defamation case against her former actor husband, Johnny Depp. As per reports, the actress's photo was first posted on Yarden Mainfeld Dizengoff’s Instagram page in which she can be seen enjoying food at a cafe near Dizengoff Street on Monday, August 1.

However, Heard was not alone. She was accompanied by Eve Barlow — a music journalist and Zionist — who is also a great friend of the ‘Aquaman’ actress and one of her most vocal supporters. Barlow stood by Heard throughout the multi-million dollar case against Depp and defended her whenever required.

The recent sighting of the actress came two months after a Virginia court, on June 1, ordered her to pay $10.35M to the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star for defaming him through her Washington Post op-ed. Heard was also awarded $2M as the court believed that Depp's former lawyer, acting on his behalf, did defame her when he called her out for her "abuse hoax."

Depp had sued Heard following a 2018 op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post. In the essay, the 36-year-old called herself a domestic abuse survivor as she claimed, “I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our culture's wrath for women who speak out." Though the ‘Zombieland’ actress did not name Depp in her piece, his legal team found it indirect defamation against their client and they sued her for $50M. Heard then countersued her ex-husband and asked for $100M but in June, the jury largely favored the ‘Edward Scissorhands' actor, leaving Heard disappointed. She called the verdict “a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke up could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women should be taken seriously.”

Meanwhile, after Heard was spotted in Tel Aviv, many people took to Twitter to criticize her. A user tweeted, “Floppy Fish being fed by fartlow.” The second user said, “Depraved bunch, they are.” The third one asked, “Where is Amber’s child? I haven’t seen any pictures of her anywhere with the child except the few she posted herself. Does the baby exist?” The fourth one went on to compare her with her sister Whitney while stating, “im pretty sure whitney is taking care of her. not only is whitney baby sitting amber’s child, but shes also watching her 2 kids at the same time. at least she is more responsible and mature than amber.”

Mocking Heard, a person wrote, “How far she's fallen.
