Rihanna and billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel reportedly break up after nearly 3 years of dating
'Man Down' singer Rihanna has ended her near-three-year relationship with boyfriend Hassan Jameel, according to a Us Weekly source. The Barbadian Grammy-winning singer and the Saudi businessman and billionaire, both 31, first linked up in June 2017.
However, weeks later, a source told Us Weekly the two had “been hooking up for a few months.” They had been trying to keep their relationship private, but Rihanna became candid about their romance with Interview Magazine in a June 2019 profile.
She admitted during the time that she was indeed in love with Jameel, but didn't reveal any marriage plans as such, saying “Only God knows that, girl. We plan and God laughs, right?” Although, she did reveal that she wants to be a mother “more than anything in life.”
The Fenty Beauty founder, Rihanna, was spotted celebrating her birthday with the Saudi businessman at the Lakers game in Los Angeles in February 2019 and were seen showing some public displays of affection as they cheered on the home team.
The two were photographed at a Spanish villa where they were vacationing together. The couple also showed a lot of PDAs by a pool with infamous poolside pics that went viral inspiring the hashtag #RihannaHasAMan when the news of their pairing first broke.
They have never made an official red carpet appearance together. Rihanna later brought her family along to a date night with Jameel, which included her mother, Monica Braithwaite, and her brother.
They dined at Mason restaurant in Santa Monica in August 2019. As per an eyewitness that revealed to Us Weekly at the time, “They were there for a good few hours of the night until dark. At one point, Rihanna and Hassan were arm in arm.” Rihanna has been in relationships with Chris Brown and Drake, and Jameel was married to art critic Lina Lazaar from 2012 to 2017.
