ORANGE COUNTRY, CALIFORNIA: 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Heather Dubrow recently shared her ongoing struggles with infertility, revealing that she still keeps two frozen embryos and "cries every time" she receives a bill for their storage. Dubrow, 54, has been open about her difficulty in naturally conceiving children and recently detailed the trauma of freezing her embryos.

The mother of four, who had three of her kids through in vitro fertilization (IVF), shared that she has to "take a deep breath" before paying the $800 bill to keep her embryos frozen. Heather Dubrow appeared on ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ from 2012 to 2016 and rejoined in 2021. She claimed that she still keeps two of her embryos frozen and has a lot of trauma from the ordeal.

Heather Dubrow shares infertility struggles, claims she still keeps embryos frozen

In an Instagram post, Dubrow wrote, "It’s that time of year again when I pay for my two frozen embryos. I cry, sit in it for a bit, take a deep breath, pay the bill and wait until next year." She went on to ask if "anyone else" went through similar emotions and expressed curiosity about what others do with their embryos.

Dubrow, who is married to reality TV star Terry Dubrow, also opened up about her pregnancy struggles on an episode of her podcast, ‘Heather Dubrow's World'. After two years of trying to conceive, the couple discovered that Dubrow had unexplained infertility. Despite taking fertility drugs, having injections, and undergoing intrauterine insemination, nothing seemed to work.



 

The reality star detailed how the trauma of freezing her embryos still haunts her. The emotional toll of infertility and the difficult decisions that come with it are a reminder of the ongoing struggles that many couples face in their quest to start a family.

Dubrow went on to claim that she has to "take a deep breath" before paying the $800 bill to keep her embryos frozen. In addition to her time on ‘Real Housewives of Orange County', Dubrow has also had a successful career as an actress, author, and podcast host. She has also made appearances on other reality TV shows such as ‘Botched’ with her husband. Needless to say, her fans will be concerned with her latest post and hope that she feels better quickly!
