'Do not buy these': 'RHOBH' star Kyle Richards calls out 'fake' weight-loss ad for using her photos without consent
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Kyle Richards, known for her role in the popular reality show 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', has found herself in the midst of yet another social media controversy. The television star recently took to Instagram to address a weight-loss advertisement that featured her pictures without her consent. This is not the first time that Kyle has been embroiled in rumors surrounding her physique. Earlier this year, she had to refute claims that she used Ozempic, a medication used for treating Type 2 diabetes, for her body transformation.
In response to the fake advertisement, Kyle took to her Instagram story and shared a screenshot of the ad, denying ever using or endorsing the product. She further called out the company behind the ad, BioScience, for using her pictures without her consent, stating that it was a violation of her privacy and that she did not approve of the ad in any way.

Kyle Richards calls out BioScience for fake ad using her pictures
The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, recently, found herself embroiled in a weight-loss advertisement scandal after her pictures were used without her consent. To set the record straight, Kyle took to her Instagram account and vehemently denounced the product that was being advertised, all the while addressing the intense speculation surrounding her body transformation. In a series of stories, the reality TV star posted screenshots of the weight-loss ads and urged her 4.1 million followers to not fall prey to such scams. She called out BioScience, the company behind the Keto-ACV gummies, for using her pictures without her consent and stated that it was a violation of her privacy. Kyle was quick to clarify that she had never endorsed the product and that the words in the ads were not hers. "This website is a scam and using my images. This is a fake ad. I have not endorsed this product or ever taken anything like this. These are not my words in these ads," wrote Kyle, trying to debunk any false claims about her weight-loss journey.
Kyle Richards denies using Ozempic for weight loss
Kyle came forward to refute the persistent rumors that she used Ozempic for weight loss. She made a statement earlier this year in January to shut down all the rumors that have been floating around. Ozempic is a drug that is FDA approved for the treatment of diabetes only, but some people take it as an anti-obesity medication for long-term weight management. The rumors began when 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Melissa Gorga called out Kyle for taking Ozempic during an appearance on Sirius XM's 'Jeff Lewis Live'. Kyle's workout selfies that showed off her skinny figure further fueled the rumors, with fans asking if Ozempic was the secret behind her toned body. In response, Kyle told Page Six, "I had never heard of [Ozempic]. I had heard of it when they accused me, but I’d already lost weight by the time I had heard about Ozempic, so it was really frustrating to me."
Kyle has been attempting to inspire her fans by frequently showcasing her flat abs and toned arms on social media. She further expressed to Page Six that her slimmer figure was simply due to a healthier lifestyle as well as sobriety. "What I don’t want to get lost in this is that I want to be able to inspire people," she said. Despite the rumors, Kyle has been transparent about her journey to a healthier lifestyle and has even shared her fitness and diet routines with her followers.
