Denise Richards shares throwback 'Friends' photos, fans get nostalgic over 'old Denise'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While Denise Richards might be known for her role on the hit Bravo series ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, those who have followed her work as an actress from the 1990s to the aughts know very well about her early stints. Fans of the actress are well aware that the bravolebrity has guest starred on several popular shows of the era. And the list also includes the evergreen series ‘Friends’.
Even though Denise played a minor role on ‘Friends’, she did leave quite an impact as Ross Geller’s and Monica Geller’s “ragamuffin” cousin Cassie. Denise as Cassie had made several characters including Ross, Chandler Bing, and even Phoebe Buffay swoon for her eclectic charm and drop-dead gorgeous looks as she unraveled her hair in slow motion. Now the actress has shared a throwback post of her short cameo on the hit show with her Instagram followers.
The ’RHOBH’ alum captioned the post writing, “Before the Dyson Airwrap, there was @mrchrismcmillan,” highlighting the work of Chris McMillar, the hairstylist who was responsible for Denise’s dreamy blonde locks on the show as well as the popular “Rachel haircut” for Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel Green on ‘Friends.” Denise also posted a photo of herself as Cassie along with a video compilation of Cassie’s slow-mo hair flips.
Noting how much they missed the “old Denise,” many of the actress’ fans and followers took to the Instagram post’s comment section as one person wrote, “My biggest crush growing up❤️.” While another added, “Love that friends episode I think phoebes impression at the end was priceless haha.” A fan also commented, “One of the best Friends episodes!! ❤️.” One nostalgic fan also referenced the episode by penning, “Most beautiful “ragamuffin” EVER!🔥” But a critic was quick to point out, “That look is long gone, you ruined your face, so sad, I just want to understand why?” Another also chimed in with, “How we like to remember her not this version of drunk house mom.”
