'Real Housewives of Atlanta': Are Porsha and Dennis faking relationship troubles just to make the storyline interesting?
Infidelity is a deal-breaker, but only a few are able to look past it and start afresh. 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Porsha Williams and Dennis Mckinley's relationship has been rocky (to say the least) ever since she found out he was cheating on her, but they are able to come to terms with it, albeit for a little while.
In this week's episode of 'RHOA', we see Porsha putting up a show after the Marlo Hampton decided to conveniently visit Dennis' burger joint for a quick bite. She even called him up, prodded Porsha to say "I love you" to him. But, what was the need for putting up such a front when, in her head, she was decided and willing to give him a second chance during her therapy session?
Viewers suspect, the Dennis-Porsha cheating scandal is a sham and cooked up just to add to Porsha's storyline on the show. When Dennis arrived by himself at the session but left with Porsha in her car, fans began to wonder if their rift was just a facade. "This show is so fake. How did Dennis all of a sudden “pop up” on Porsha at her therapy session, but they rode back home in the same car? Do better @BravoTV #RHOA," a fan expressed.
While another thought the storyline seemed fake because Dennis couldn't act properly and therefore it didn't seem believable. "I could be wrong but Porsha's cheating storyline still seems fake to me. Dennis can't act well enough to make it believable #RHOA," the user tweeted. Another one wrote that their equation doesn't look like a real one simply because it's not how a couple deals with infidelity.
"I feel like this whole Dennis Porsha cheating thing is fake af. I have seen marital cheating up close and personal and this ain’t it. Plus they made it look like D & P came to therapy separately but they left together? Come on, son! #RHOA," a user wrote.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that Porsha wants Dennis back in her life only because she wants a second child with him and once that's done, he's going to be out. Even then, just to allow a cheating individual to mess with one's life one more time seems like a not-so-wise decision. What if Dennis repeats his mistakes? What happens then?
