'Return to Amish' star Fanny Schmucker feels betrayed as Rosanna Miller gives her cold shoulder
SARASOTA, FLORIDA: Leaving your community behind and coming to a place to live with new people is scary. The same was felt with 'Return to Amish' star Fanny Schmucker. As she landed in Florida with Maureen Byler, both went straight toward Ada Byler's house. Well, it seemed Fanny was not well received by Rosanna Miller or any of her friends.
It was Rosanna who came forward to help Fanny in the first place. But as soon as Fanny reached Florida it seemed as if both did not know each other. While Fanny stood in the corner holding her dress and waiting for 'Return to Amish' members to welcome her into the group, Rosanna did not even bother to ask the Old Order Amish member about her journey. Seeing cousin Rosanna act like a complete stranger, Fanny wondered why she was giving her a cold shoulder.

Fanny finally finds out why Rosanna is giving her a cold shoulder
The number of people kept increasing in Ada's house but the rooms were limited. Therefore, as soon as Fanny and Maureen arrived and got comfortable with the other people present, Sabrina asked the first thing, "So, where is everybody gonna sleep?" Ada says to this, "I'm not sure where is everybody gonna sleep." Well, Rosanna made her point clear as soon as the sleeping question popped in front of her. She said, "I'm sleeping with my boyfriend. In the Amish community, boys and girls sleep together." Listening to this, everyone was shocked because everyone knew there is no such thing in the Amish community.
Daniel and Kenneth accused the couple of saying a "lie" because, in the Amish community, an unmarried couple is never allowed to sleep together. Fanny further said in a confessional, "Now it makes sense why Rosanna was giving me the cold shoulder." She further added, "She didn't wanna sleep with me. She wanna sleep with Johnny and they wanna put me in her room." Seeing Rosanna adamant about sleeping with Johnny, Fanny claimed, "I wonder what her parents and her brother Rae would have to say about her sleeping in the same room as her boyfriend."

Fanny was left heartbroken by her fiance after spilling the secret
The Old Older Amish community has so many strict rules that one is obliged to follow if one wants to live in the community. Fanny says, "My whole life was mapped out for me." A boy from the same community was chosen for Fanny, 20, to marry. Fanny claimed that they were in love until she confessed to him about her secret. The star claimed, "A few days ago I tell him about my secret cell phone which we are not supposed to have in our community." Well, this information was not well received by her fiance. Instead of supporting her, he went to the bishop to tell him about Fanny owning a phone and violating the rules. After this incident, Fanny was left heartbroken. The star said, "I thought I loved him, but I'm just... how can I marry someone I don't trust."
Indeed, Fanny decided to move out of the Amish community. She left a note and left it with Maureen. Let us further wait to see whether she will be able to adjust to American society with Rosanna and Maureen or if will she become homesick.
