Why is Fanny Schmucker shunned by Amish people?

The preview clip of the upcoming episode reveals that Fanny has been caught keeping a cell phone by her society. She says, "Now that I have been caught with my cell phone, they're gonna shun me and condemn me to hell." Well, cell phones are something Amish people are strictly prohibited from using. Therefore, as Fanny was caught with it, the community will doubt her intentions. Now, there will be more restrictions and people will be closely monitoring her. In order to avoid all these things, Fanny will take a big step in her life. She will leave her Amish community behind. In the recently released episode, we saw Fanny asking her cousin Rosanna to help her. She will send her friend Maureen to help Fanny come to Pinecraft.

Where will Fanny Schmucker live now?

Fanny was helped by her cousin Rosanna. In the upcoming episode, we will see Maureen driving Fanny to Pinecraft. There both will meet Rosanna and her family. Well, it seems from the preview clip that Fanny is about to live with Rosanna's family. But she can't live there forever. Fanny will have to soon look out for something if she wants to become independent. She can't forever live with Rosanna's parents.

But, won't be a little difficult for Fanny to get independent all by herself this soon? Obviously, it will be. So, does that mean that she will one day reach the breaking point and return to the Amish community? There is a possibility for that to happen. Fanny is seen saying in one of the clips of the trailer, "I wanna go home." It hints that she might get fed up living with Rosanna and her family and would once again return to her community.

The new episodes of 'Return to Amish' premiere every Tuesday at 10 pm ET on TLC.
