What made Johnny Detweiler break down?

Johnny has been complaining about not liking the place to his girlfriend ever since he entered the club. Understanding Johnny's situation, Rosanna took Johnny out of the club. But as soon as they went out, Johnny started crying his heart out. Rosanna said in a confessional, "Johnny wasn't having a good time, but as soon as we stepped outside he just started crying." Johnny accepted and said, "I was miserable." He further claimed that he was missing his home in the Amish community. While crying, Johnny claimed that he does not want to get involved with so many people. He said, "I just want you."

The next day, Rosanna and Johnny talked about him having a hard time in the English world. While Rosanna tried to calm down her boyfriend, he told Rosanna, "I don't think the English world is for me. I want to go back to being Amish." Well, what he further stated made him the bad guy. Johnny told her, "If you love me, you'll go back with me."
