AUSTIN, TEXAS: Life without cheese would be pretty dull. It would simply be 'cheeseless' and nobody wants that.

Most of us love any food that contains cheese but some don't prefer dairy cheese for various reasons and search for vegan options that are available in the market.

Fred Swar and Kirsten Maitland have come up with the perfect cheese that tastes delicious and the best part about it is that it's plant-based. This duo believes that all of us can enjoy good food without giving up on taste and harming animals. Their cheeses are vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and cholesterol-free.

Swar and Maitland are ready to pitch their vegan company called Rebel Cheese to the Sharks in 'Shark Tank' Season 15 Episode 9. The two of them will be seen trying to bag a deal from a panel of 5 Sharks including Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, and guest Shark Emma Grede.

What is Rebel Cheese?

Rebel Cheese is an artisanal vegan cheese company which is located in Austin, Texas. It is a vegan deli and wine shop. This vegan restaurant plans to offer its customers the best vegan cheese that has a rich and complex flavor.

According to the company, artisan vegan cheese is pillowy soft and it is developed over approximately two weeks of aging. It is made up of a total of four ingredients and they are as follows: water, cashews, salt, and cultures.

Who is the founder of Rebel Cheese?

Fred Swar and Kirsten Maitland are the founders of Rebel Cheese. The two of them are avid lovers of vegan food and are so passionate about vegan food that they are willing to travel all over the world to try new vegan dishes.

Swar and Maitland believe in the power of plant-based food and they think it can help an individual to bring some positive changes in their lifestyle. They want to promote animal welfare and reduce our impact on the environment.

However, at the end of the day, it's essential to have good food. The reason this duo started Rebel Cheese was because they wanted to enjoy picnics with high-quality cheeses, have sandwiches or pizzas with meltable mozzarella, and prove to people that vegan cheeses can be just as yummy, if not more so, than traditional dairy cheeses.

Their goal is to showcase to people that there are less harmful alternatives by encouraging people to adopt plant-based diets, even if it's just for a few days per week.
